Application Developer

Job Description

Intel's Supply Network Capability - GAR Supply and Demand Information Solutions is looking for an Application Developer for the WFDS project team. In this position, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Assisting the architect and technical lead in defining the high level design, including the data model

Reviewing the high level design and providing feedback to the architect and technical lead

Participating in high level design reviews

Creating low level design for component deliverables, using established design standards and processes

Implementing the designs using established code standards and processes.


Desired Profile

You should possess at least Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields. Additional qualifications include:

Strong understanding of system analysis and design, software development life cycle, object-oriented programming, Web applications development, data warehousing and database programming

Strong software development experience with Teradata* ETL programming, Teradata* Master Data Management, Java* and XML

Good written, verbal communication skills, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a team, strong interpersonal skills, able to operate in a multitasking environment with interrupts and priority changes

Strong analytic skills, self driven, keen to learn and adopt new technologies and processes

Software development experience with Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMi) or Lean Six Sigma would be an added advantage

Teradata* certification would be an added advantage
